Zip-up Cardigan is a drop shoulder, loose fit cardigan knitted top down. First, use a provisional cast on to make an invisible pick-up seam. Knit the back piece, and pick up stitches for each shoulder. And then, work short rows to shape the shoulder and neckline. When the shoulders are done, join the pieces and knit the body flat. And then, pick up stitches around the armhole for sleeve and work short rows. Long cuff of the sleeves will keep your wrists and hands warm and comfy. Finally, pick up stitches around the neckline and knit rib long enough to make a folded neck band. Each end of the neck band is extended to the hem of the body to cover and accommodate the zipper.
