Made for the patterns you already love
Most crocheters collect patterns from lots of places. Knit&Note doesn’t ask you to start over. Add a PDF to the app (on iPhone and iPad you can share photos of a printed pattern too) and it becomes a project with its own counter and notes.
Our library is mostly knitting, with a small set of crochet designs alongside it, so most crocheters start with patterns they already own. That’s where the counter and notes earn their place.
A crochet row counter that remembers your round
Amigurumi, granny squares and garments all come down to counting. Tap the counter as you finish each round, and Knit&Note remembers the number for you. Put the hook down mid-round, come back days later, and the count is still there.
Write a note on the exact row where you changed something, like an extra increase or a new color. Next time you open the project, the note is waiting for you.

Handy tools in the same place
The increase and decrease calculator helps you spread stitches evenly across a round. The yarn calculator helps you work out how much yarn you need, and the ruler is there when you want to check your gauge. Your yarn stash lives in the app too, so you can see what you have before you start something new.
Crochet and knit in one app
Plenty of makers do both. In Knit&Note your crochet and knitting projects sit side by side, each with its own count and notes, and they share the same yarn stash. Switch from a crochet bag to a knitted sweater and both stay exactly where you left them.

FAQ
What is the best app for crochet patterns?
If you want one calm place to count rounds and keep notes in the patterns you already own, and you knit too, Knit&Note is a good fit. If you mostly want to buy new crochet patterns, a marketplace app may suit you better. Our app comparison covers the main options.
Does Knit&Note have crochet patterns?
Yes, a small selection next to a larger knitting library, and new patterns keep arriving. You can also add any crochet pattern you own as a PDF.
Can I count rounds in amigurumi?
Yes. Use the counter for rounds and add a note where the pattern changes, for example where the increases stop.
Does it matter if my pattern uses US or UK terms?
Knit&Note shows your pattern as it’s written, so check which terms it uses before you start. Our guide to US and UK crochet terms explains the difference.
Is Knit&Note free?
Knit&Note is free to download. Premium opens the full pattern library, and patterns are included in the subscription. You’ll see plans and prices in the app.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. Knit&Note is on Google Play for Android, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
