The pattern for Matoaka was first published in my book, Wilderness knits, which was published in the autumn of 2019. The original Matoaka sweater has sewn in sleeves and is knitted in the Icelandic yarn, Lettlopi. Now I have made a version with a circular yoke knitted with fantastic Norwegian wool. Due to wide charts, some of the sizes have a different gauge. I have spent a long time pondering how to make a version with a circular yoke that is true to my original design. Yarn alternatives are something that is always in demand, and I have therefore included these in the pattern. Enjoy the knitting!
