Luma Sweater is a chunky, cozy sweater featuring lateral braids and textured pattern repeats. It is knitted top-down with two strands of Highland Wool and one strand of Cashmere Mohair. First, the back piece is worked flat as a rectangle. Stitches are then picked up along the cast-on edge of the back piece to form the shoulders. Each shoulder is worked flat separately, with increases to the neckline. The shoulders are joined to form the front piece, which is then worked flat. The front and back pieces are joined under the armholes, and the body is worked in the round and finished with double ribbing. The sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armholes and knitting downwards. Finally, the neckline is worked.
