The loungewear shorts are worked top-down in stockinette stitch. You start with making a folded hem, and then work short rows and increases to get a nice fit, before decreasing when you make the legs. You finish the legs with folded hems, and make one long i-cord for your waist. Make a swatch to make sure to have the right gauge. Notice that the gauge is given after the shorts are rinsed.
