I am one of those who loves to keep things in order and like to sort things into smaller units. Why not use the leftovers to knit some bags? Here, all yarns and knitting gauges can be used and only your creativity sets the limits. The bag is knitted on the round, preferably using magic loop. The pattern is based on 22/10. There is no problem using another types of yarn than recommended in the pattern. If you have a lighter weight yarn, it is recommended to go down in needle size (e.g. Sunday and needle 3 mm) to maintain the density, so that the bag still holds its contents. The bag’s dimensions will then be smaller than stated in the pattern. If you want to use heavier weight yarn, increasing the needle size is recommended, and the bag will become larger. Note that the amount of yarn will also change. You will need less yarn for a bag in lighter weight yarn, and more yarn for a heavier weight bag. The bag will also be harder to close with thicker yarn. You can also make more or fewer increases than the pattern suggests. Fewer increases will result in a smaller size. If you use thinner yarn but more increases, you will be able to achieve the same size as the original.
