The body and yoke of the cardigan is knitted back and forth, following a textured rib + lace pattern. Round along the front, an I-cord border is knitted onto the neck- and front pieces. Along the edge of the back and front pieces , sts are picked up in each side for sleeves. The sleeves are knitted in the round in the same rib + lace structure as the body and yoke. The edges of both the body and sleeves are knitted in twisted ribbing, and to finish the cardigan, buttons are sewn onto the frontal I-cord border.
