The pattern for Arctic summer was first published in my second book, Wilderness Knits from 2020. Now I have made a thick version with circular yoke for cold winter days. The sweater is knitted in Alafosslopi, but you can also use Troll and/or Blåne from Hillesvåg Yarns. The sweater is knitted in the round, from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately before they are gathered on one needle. Arctic summer polar is a thick sweater that can be knitted as a sweater with a short or high neck.
