The teether is worked from the “inside of the ring” back and forth in stockinette stitch. Cast on with provisional cast on for an invisible cast-on edge. Mark the ears by working reverse stockinette stitch, before continuing in stockinette stitch. When you have reached the length of the piece corresponding to the thickness of the ring, put the sts aside. Pick up the sts for the ear, which are worked separately. Sew the threads securely before sewing together what is attached to the ring.
