The sweater is worked top-down in a multicolored, textured pattern that forms the circular yoke. The roll neck is worked first, and then you'll make the increases following the chart. For each round, the pattern will tell you how many stitches to increase and how many stitches you should have on the needles after the increases. This will help you check that the shaping is correct.
