Rami Socks

Rami Socks showcases an all-over colourwork pattern with bold, geometric motifs. This style works beautifully even with subtle colour contrasting colour combinations, so you don’t need high intensity differences to make the design stand out. Like many of my sock patterns, this one is worked toe-up, featuring a sole gusset and a slip-stitch heel flap, a combination I’ve come to love for its great fit. The toe-up method also makes it simple to adjust the leg length, giving you the option to knit anything from a short ankle sock to a full knee-high. To address the reduced stretch that can occur with colourwork, I’ve added a few extra stitches in the leg section, helping the sock slide over your heel more easily while still hugging the foot snugly for a comfy fit.
