The pattern for Hopi was first published in my second book. Now I have made a thick version for colder days. The sweater is knitted in the Norwegian yarn, Vams, but you can also use other yarns such as Troll and Blåne from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. Many people have asked for yarn alternatives for everyday use, and I have therefore included this in the pattern as well. The sweater is knitted in the round, from the bottom up. This sweater should have a positive ease of about 10-15 cm. Hopi Polar is a thick sweater that can be knitted as a sweater with a short or high neck, or as a "Polar hoodie". Hopi Polar hoodie has a hood and extra length on the body so that you are dressed for extra coldwinter nights. Happy knitting!
